Inside the perfectly restored work environments, the museum conserves the structures of ancient masonry ovens and the original tools used during the fusion activity, especially tools needed for the long and complex process of bells production. Visitors can observe tens of different sized wooden profiles used to define the bells shape, big compasses for tracing the profiles, adjustable calibres needed to check the roundness of the form, and other ancient measurement instruments among which a cast iron ruler and a precision balance for weighting the metal to be fused. |
